Topic for discussion: Account-based marketing (ABM) in 2025

We’re going to be discussing account-based marketing (ABM), and its application in 2025. It’s a marketing approach that’s been around for a long time, but has really come into prominence in recent years as the B2B sector has matured and the landscape has become more competitive.

In a nutshell, ABM is a strategy and set of coordinated activities aimed at developing a company's reputation, relationships and revenue within a focused set of priority accounts (aka companies or organisations). ABM is particularly well-suited to companies with complex, high-value offerings that want to generate sales opportunities from a defined list of ideal potential - or existing - customers.

In enterprise-scale companies, ABM has been well-established for the best part of the last decade, and Jo and Cagatay will have a wealth of insights and experiences to draw upon from their roles at B2B behemoths like Bentley Systems and Dassault Systèmes. At Casla, we’re particularly interested in the relatively untapped opportunity ABM presents as a strategy that SMEs can implement, and Millie will be well-placed to share what we’re doing in this area for clients, and some of the lessons we’ve learnt along the way.

As always, there will be lots of opportunities for audience input and participation - we’d love to hear as many people’s views and experiences as possible!
